Description
This solution covers the synchronized installation and integrated testing of primary and secondary lock bodies for double-door setups (such as unequal-width “parent-child” doors or symmetrical commercial double doors). For double-leaf doors, the primary and secondary lock bodies require their respective locking points to engage simultaneously upon closing without interfering with each other during operation. We provide comprehensive services covering lock body selection, installation positioning, and linkage rod connection.
When placing your order, please specify the door’s opening direction (inward or outward) and the width of the central gap. We will prepare the appropriate primary lock, secondary lock, and linkage kit based on these details. On-site installation involves securing the primary lock body and calibrating its locking points first, then determining the secondary lock’s mounting height relative to the primary lock, and finally connecting the linkage rod to ensure synchronized extension and retraction.
During the testing phase, we repeatedly open and close both door leaves to verify gap uniformity and check for any lag or sticking in the secondary lock’s mechanism. We also adjust the interaction between the bottom guide rollers and the floor springs to ensure the correct closing sequence. Upon handover, we demonstrate proper daily operation and advise on the need for quarterly inspections to ensure linkage connections remain secure.
