This service provides waterproof cover installation and enhanced sealing for access control keypads located outdoors or in humid environments. The protective covers we select are rainproof, dustproof, and UV-resistant; they are designed to allow ample operating space, ensuring no compromise to keypad tactile comfort or card-reading range. Installation significantly reduces the failure rate caused by water ingress.
After placing your order, please provide the keypad panel dimensions and the mounting surface material. We will custom-fit the protective cover and sealing strips accordingly. On-site installation involves cleaning the area around the keypad, securing the cover using non-corrosive adhesive or mechanical fasteners, and ensuring the cover fully shields all wiring entry points.
Post-installation, we simulate rainy conditions (splash test) to check for leaks and verify keypad responsiveness and card-reading sensitivity, ensuring the cover causes no interference. We also trim drainage holes to prevent water accumulation.
