Description
This service package addresses issues such as aging power lines, poor contact, or disorganized cabling within access control systems, providing comprehensive inspection and cable management. A stable, reliable power supply is essential for the proper functioning of access control locks. We use tools such as multimeters and insulation testers to check for voltage drops and assess the condition of insulation, while also reorganizing the wiring layout.
Upon receiving your service request, please describe the existing issues (e.g., insufficient magnetic holding force, card reader rebooting). On-site, the technician will first cut the main power, measure the resistance and insulation-to-ground values of the power lines section by section, and mark any problematic segments. We will then replace damaged wires or redo connections, using cable trunking or zip ties to separate and secure high- and low-voltage lines.
After organizing the wiring, we measure the actual operating voltage and current to ensure they fall within rated specifications. We also apply labels to key connection points to facilitate future maintenance and provide you with a simple wiring diagram for future reference.
