Mechanical lock cylinder upgrade and replacement service

Description

This package focuses on upgrading aging or low-security mechanical lock cylinders to modern, high-security models. We offer a variety of Euro-profile cylinders suitable for different door thicknesses and lock body configurations. The upgrade revitalizes your key system, offering a more precise feel during operation and enhanced durability.
After the order is placed, we provide remote guidance on measuring the existing cylinder’s length, offset, and cam position to ensure the correct parts are selected. During installation, the technician carefully removes the old cylinder and inspects the lock body for internal wear, cleaning out debris and applying specialized lubricant if necessary. Once the new cylinder is installed, the key is turned to verify precise positioning at each stage of the mechanism.
The service includes two new keys, with duplication services available for additional keys (subject to separate arrangement). We also record the cylinder model and key code for easy reference when ordering additional keys in the future. Upon handover, the technician explains best practices for maintenance—such as avoiding oil-based lubricants—to help extend the cylinder’s service life.
