Installation of specialized lock bodies for narrow-frame doors

Description

This service covers the installation and commissioning of specialized narrow-profile locks designed for narrow-frame doors (such as aluminum alloy profile doors). Since standard lock bodies do not fit the limited internal space of narrow-frame doors, we select slim, appropriately sized lock mechanisms and assemblies, using specialized mounting hardware that preserves the structural integrity and appearance of the door frame.
When placing your order, please measure the front width of the door frame and the dimensions of the internal cavity so we can match the lock body size accordingly. We employ non-destructive installation methods—utilizing existing screw holes or adding reinforcement backplates—to avoid cutting large, unnecessary holes in the door profile. Once the lock body is secured, we connect the handle and transmission components and adjust the free-play (deadband) settings.
During testing, we verify that the narrow latch bolt extends sufficiently into the strike plate and ensure smooth handle operation. We also apply scratch-resistant treatment to the lock body to protect the door profile’s finish. Upon completion, we provide the specialized keys for the narrow-frame lock and a guide on operational precautions.
