Installation of commercial fire-rated door lock bodies

Description

This package offers specialized lock installation services for commercial fire-rated doors. Fire doors have specific requirements regarding fire resistance and emergency egress capabilities; we select lock bodies and hardware that meet relevant standards to ensure rapid evacuation during emergencies while satisfying daily operational needs.
After an order is placed, we collect data on door thickness, fire rating, and existing cutout dimensions, and confirm whether a panic bar (push-bar) exit device is required. During on-site installation, we strictly adhere to torque and fastening specifications to prevent overtightening, which could damage the door’s internal core material. All fasteners used feature anti-rust coatings.
Upon completion, we conduct push-bar pressure tests and key-locking tests to verify sufficient travel distance and full retraction of locking points during simulated emergencies. We also inspect door gaps for uniformity to ensure door deformation does not impair lock functionality. A maintenance log template is provided upon handover to document future inspections.
