Description
This service addresses issues such as reduced sensing range or unstable card reading by adjusting internal antenna matching parameters and troubleshooting external environmental interference. We use a spectrum analyzer to detect operating frequency deviations and adjust variable capacitors or software gain to restore optimal sensing field strength, while simultaneously identifying nearby metal objects or sources of electromagnetic interference.
Upon order placement, a technician arrives with calibration tools to first measure the card-reading success rate at various distances using a standard test card. Next, the reader’s housing is opened to adjust antenna matching components based on circuit board markings while monitoring waveform changes on an oscilloscope. If interference sources are present, we recommend relocating the reader or installing shielding gaskets.
After calibration, the distance test is repeated to record the improved reading range and angular coverage. We also clean dust from the antenna board to prevent dielectric loss and provide a calibration report comparing parameters before and after the adjustment.
