Description
This service adds an external alarm (audible and visual) to your access control system, triggering an alert in the event of unauthorized entry, forced entry, or a door left open too long. We handle alarm selection, installation, and connection/testing with the access control board’s output terminals.
Upon placing your order, please provide the model of your existing access control board and the type of alarm output interface (relay or voltage level). We will then select a compatible alarm unit. During on-site installation, the alarm unit is secured above the door frame or on the adjacent wall; control wiring is connected, and trigger conditions are configured (e.g., an alarm triggers if the door contact remains open for more than 30 seconds).
During commissioning, various abnormal conditions are simulated to verify that the alarm activates promptly and operates at an appropriate volume level. A delayed disarming function is also configured to prevent false alarms caused by routine door opening. A configuration chart detailing the alarm modes associated with each trigger source is provided upon handover.
