Description
This service covers the relocation and wiring extension of indoor visitor intercom units in finished interiors. Whether you need to move the unit from the living room to the entryway or study, we handle the rewiring, mounting, and system calibration to ensure clear video, noise-free audio, and fully functional door-unlocking capabilities.
Upon accepting the order, we assess the wall structure and the routing of existing conduits between the old and new locations. We prepare the necessary lengths of signal and power cabling, as well as materials for wall touch-ups. On-site work includes wall channeling (or using cable trunking for surface-mounted wiring), cable routing, installing a new mounting box, and connecting the unit to the main intercom system.
Once relocated, we test the signal transmission between the outdoor station and the indoor unit, optimizing microphone sensitivity and speaker volume. We also verify the responsiveness of the unlock button to ensure there is no lag. Additionally, we assist in cleaning the wall area where the unit was previously located to restore its aesthetic appearance.
